SHIPPING OPTIONS/CUT-OFF TIMES

Same day shipping will apply to most orders. All orders are shipped FedEx, U.S. Postal Service, UPS or DHL. Custom manufactured items will be determined by order. Exact freight and insurance charges apply; every effort will be made to contact the customer with large quote discrepancies. Daily Shipping Cut-Off Times are applicable for Monday-Friday, during normal business hours. Times below are in the Central Standard Time (CST) zone.

 

DHL: 9:00AM CST

Distributor/Large Stock Orders: 1:00 PM CST

FedEx: 3:00 PM CST

USPS: 10:00 AM CST

UPS:

  • UPS Ground, with 8130-3 Tag, 4:00 PM CST
  • Monday-Thursday: UPS Ground and Air, without 8130-3 Tag, 5:00 PM CST
  • Friday: UPS Ground and Air, without 8130-3 Tag, 4:30 PM CST
  • UPS Overnight/Rush 5:30 PM – will incur $10.00 Rush Fee

 

Certain products have restrictions due to size or shipping air. Additional crating charges may apply for certain products. Shipping terms are F.O.B. Baldwin City. International Inco term: F.C.A. Baldwin City. Title of goods transfers when shipment leaves Baldwin City, KS and has been paid in full. All shipments are insured unless otherwise instructed. Product damage or loss incurred in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. McFarlane will provide customers with assistance in tracking packages and filing claims.

 

A handling charge of $2.75 is added to all domestic orders. A handling charge of $7.50 is added to all international orders, and $50.00 for all shipments requiring the F.A.A. Form 8130-3 tag for export. Labor charges apply for certain certifications. An additional $15.00 will be added to drop ship orders and an additional $4.50 handling charge is added to C.O.D. orders.

 

For international shipments: All freight, duty and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer. If McFarlane Aviation is billed these charges on your behalf, you agree that you will be billed by McFarlane Aviation for the charges. 

 

 

General Information:

  • Shipping prices are estimates only. Actual shipping cost may vary (most variance is seen on international orders). Some part numbers require additional dimensional weight, multiple boxes, or crating charges. These charges are not reflected in real-time quotes. If paying by credit card, an extra $20.00 will be pre-authorized on your credit card to account for these variations, however only the actual shipping rate calculated at the time of shipment will be charged to your card.
  • Cash On Delivery (COD) available for US domestic shipments only.
  • Control surface skins and flap trailing edge bulbs must be shipped via UPS or FedEx. USPS is not an option for these parts.
  • Applicable brokerage fees, duties and taxes are not included. McFarlane Aviation Products has no control over the international fees of each country once the package leaves the United States border. DHL International:

  • International shipments only.
  • Orders placed by 9:00 am Central Time will be shipped the same business day.
  • Estimated delivery date or days may or may not reflect business days and/or weekends based on the service selected.
  • A discount of 30% is applied to all DHL shipping rates (discount is reflected in the online estimate).

 

 

FedEx:

  • Orders placed by 3:00 pm Central Time will be shipped the same business day.

  • Estimated delivery date or days may or may not reflect business days and/or weekends based on the service selected.
  • Orders over $400.00 in value require a customer signature for delivery.
  • Domestic FedEx Ground Residential/Home Delivery shipments are delivered Tuesday-Saturday. Shipments in Alaska and Canada are delivered Monday-Friday.
  • Domestic FedEx Air Residential, and Ground and Air shipments to commercial locations are delivered Monday-Friday.
  • For time-in-transit from McFarlane to your location: FedEx Ground Service Map
  • A discount of 7% is applied to all FedEx rates (discount is reflected in the online estimate).
  • Delivery date of the package is guaranteed.
  • Brokerage fees, duties and taxes apply to international shipments, and are charged by the carrier. 

 

 

UPS:

  • Orders placed on Monday-Thursday by 5:00 pm Central Time or on Friday by 4:30 pm Central Time will be shipped the same business day.

  • Estimated delivery date or days may or may not reflect business days and/or weekends based on the service selected.
  • For time-in transit from McFarlane to your location: UPS Ground Service Map. 
  • Brokerage fees, duties and taxes apply to international shipments, and are charged by the carrier. 

 

 

US Postal Service:

  • McFarlane does not charge for the weight of our product catalog.
  • Estimated delivery date or days may or may not reflect business days and/or weekends based on the service selected.
  • Delivery date of the package is not guaranteed, unless Express service is selected.
  • COD limit is $1000.00 for USPS packages.
  • Packages over 13 oz cannot be shipped USPS First Class. If USPS First Class is selected and the weight including packing materials is over 13 oz, the package will be shipped USPS Priority.
  • Express Mail orders placed by 10:00 am Central Time will be shipped the same business day. Every effort will be made to ship via other USPS services on the same business day.
  • Express Mail service is not an overnight service to all areas. Please check with your post office or www.usps.com to verify delivery time to your destination.
  • USPS has suspended service to many countries. Please verify service to your destination by reviewing the current International Service Disruptions. 
  • Brokerage fees do not apply, but duties and taxes for international shipments are charged by the carrier. 
  • If a package is lost a claim cannot be filed for thirty days.
